I have a 10 month old female Chibbie EmmeLou. She is from an AKC Chihuahua and an AKC Champion Tibetan Spaniel. (Not planned!) She is very sweet but does play too rough with my Chihuahuas which is why I need to find her a new forever home. She is about 9 pounds or so and should not get any bigger. He is just doing great !!!  He has grown to 4.3 lbs and we do not think he is going to grow very much more.
He has a great personally and still loves to play all the time.  He also is an outdoors man, now that the weather has warmed up we have to chase him down to get him to come inside.  He loves to run and play in the yard but he will not go outside by himself it is really funny.  He loves to go to the park and meet people and he loves kids, cats, and other calm dogs.  If a dog is to hyper he is not interested :)
I also wanted to tell you that he does not shed, I know you were not sure if he would or not.
The vet said that he is in great health the only thing was he had to get 4 teeth pulled when he was getting fixed because his adult teeth had come in and the baby teeth had not fallen out :( he also got a microchip so it was a rough two days after that. 
He used the puppy pads for a while when it was to cold out side and that really worked well for him.  Then he did great transitioning to being potty trained to go outside now that the weather is nice.  He has not chewed up anything that was not his toy and he is really starting to enjoy the pampered life
