Miniature Schnauzers appearance is a robust, active dog, sturdily built, nearly square in proportion of body length to height, with plenty of bone. The Miniature Schnauzer is alert, and spirited, yet obedient to command. He is intelligent and willing to please, and friendly, who is as much at home in a city apartment as he is in the country. They are good lap dogs as well as being a big dog in a little dog's body. He loves companionship.
